A word of caution, if you have not been physically active for a while, ease yourself back into the exercise and gradually increase the exercise intensity. Similarly, when in kickboxing class take frequent breaks if the pace of the class is overwhelming. Let the kickboxing instructor know that you need a break, they will understand. Don't set your expectations too high. Doing too much too quickly will set yourself for failure. You will feel discouraged and possibly get injured.
