Acquire a solid foundation of martial arts skill, developed with an intuitive understanding of body mechanics. Bamboo Kung Fu specializes in the development of natural athletic prowess for the purpose of kung fu and, most importantly, self defence. We help you understand your body so that you can execute traditional techniques more efficiently and more powerfully.
Although techniques have been designed to deliver power, strength training can maximize the amount of explosive force delivered.

Women's Self Defence
Bamboo Kung Fu provides women the opportunity to learn essential self defence techniques for today's world. This 8-week course covers such topics as effective and powerful hand strikes, escapes from grabs, using everyday objects as weapons, blocks, and an introduction to break falls and defence on the ground.
The next scheduled course begins on the following date:
Jan 11, 2010 for 8 weeks, ending on Mar 8, 2010.
Mondays 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Cost: $150.00 for the entire 8-week program.
Unfortunately, it is a generality that women are physically weaker. Fortunately, if you know how to defend yourself, your size and gender are irrelavant. Self defence techniques can be performed by anyone.
